How do you care for a pothos so it grows well? Master these care methods
1. Watering
To grow pothos well, it must have sufficient water, but do not overwater, especially when grown indoors. After watering thoroughly, it is best to place it outdoors in the sun for a while. If grown outdoors, in summer with plenty of sunlight you can water once every 1-2 days, while in other seasons it is best to wait until the soil dries out before watering. Spray water promptly to clean the leaves; if too much dust accumulates, it will not only affect its appearance but also affect its normal growth.
2. Light
To grow pothos well, it must receive sunlight. If grown indoors, move it outdoors when there is sunlight, but avoid the high-temperature midday sun in summer. Let it receive light for at least two days a week, and be careful that the temperature difference is not too great. In winter, do not let it near heating equipment.
3. Fertilizing
Reasonable fertilizing can make it grow better. If the temperature is kept at 15-28°C, you can fertilize once every 15 days. Move it outdoors to get rained on; appropriate rain exposure is beneficial to its growth.
4. Repotting
When growing pothos, be sure to remember to repot. When repotting, loosen the roots appropriately; if you do not loosen them, it may affect their expansion. Constricted roots will prevent water from being absorbed better, and the pot will become too wet. If poor ventilation is added to this, root rot is very likely.
