To help jasmine grow better, pay attention to the following four aspects: first, watering - increase watering appropriately during the growing season, but do not let water accumulate in the pot. Second, fertilizing - increase the amount of fertilizer during the peak growth period. Third, pruning - cut off dried branches and yellow leaves, and cut off branches that have grown too dense. Fourth, repotting - there is no need to prune the roots when repotting; water appropriately after repotting.

1. Watering

Watering can be adjusted appropriately according to seasonal changes. During the growing season, the amount of watering can be increased appropriately. At other times, do not let the potting soil become too wet, and especially do not let water accumulate. When watering, be sure to water thoroughly. It is best to water in the morning or evening; if you water when the weather is hot, it can easily scorch it.

2. Fertilizing

During its peak growth period, increase the amount of fertilizer so it can grow better. In summer, apply fertilizer generally once every 15 days, and the amount must not be too much. If the branches and leaves grow wildly but it does not bloom, that means too much fertilizer was applied, so it should be reduced appropriately. After flowering, a dilute fertilizer can be applied as a top dressing. When fertilizing, apply thin fertilizer frequently. Generally, from June to September, apply an appropriate amount of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, which can better promote flower bud formation.

3. Pruning

If you want it to have abundant branches and many flowers, appropriate pruning is indispensable. You should appropriately cut off dried branches and yellow leaves, and branches that stick up above the rest also need to be cut off. After it blooms, cut off the spent flowers as soon as possible, and also cut off branches that have grown too dense, which can be more beneficial for flower bud growth.

4. Repotting

If you want jasmine to grow better, you need to repot it. When repotting, there is no need to prune the roots; just water a little after changing to a suitable pot, because its roots are constantly growing. If you never repot it, nutrients will be insufficient, which will affect its normal growth.
