Grow Christmas cactus this way and it will grow like crazy, with lush green leaves so dense no light gets through

The Christmas cactus is quite beautiful, really. When it grows vigorously, the whole pot blooms, and it looks gorgeous. Seeing other people grow them, I also kept one at home, but before that it was always droopy, and after a long time it stayed that way. Later I asked an experienced flower-growing friend, who told me a few little tips. I tried them at home, and sure enough the Christmas cactus revived. Now I am sharing them with everyone.
1. The Christmas cactus's potting soil is too dry
The Christmas cactus likes a moist environment, so when growing a Christmas cactus you need to keep the soil moist. If you don't water the potting soil for a long time and it stays dry, it is very likely to make the Christmas cactus's potting soil too dry, causing the Christmas cactus to grow droopy and look listless.
So when growing a Christmas cactus, pay attention to keeping the potting soil moist and water it appropriately, so as to ensure the water the Christmas cactus needs to grow and help it thrive.
2. Watering the Christmas cactus too often
The Christmas cactus likes a moist environment, but that doesn't mean you should water it often or too much, because too much water will also burden the Christmas cactus, causing slow growth and even root rot, and gradually it will not survive. So when growing a Christmas cactus you also must not water it too much.
Keep the Christmas cactus in a place with good ventilation, and when watering, just water it appropriately; never water it too frequently.
3. The Christmas cactus may be in its dormant period
After the flowers fade or in summer, the Christmas cactus automatically enters its dormant period. At this time the Christmas cactus grows slowly and doesn't need much water or fertilizer, and during the dormant period it very easily becomes droopy.
If a Christmas cactus in its dormant period becomes droopy, you just need to water it a little less, not let the potting soil get too wet, and ensure the Christmas cactus grows normally. After the dormant period passes it will grow again and regain its vitality.
4. A droopy Christmas cactus may have pests
If the Christmas cactus has pests, it can also make the leaves turn yellow or droopy. This requires you to observe carefully yourself. If there are insects or eggs on the leaves, pay attention to removing the pests in time, otherwise it can easily cause greater harm to the Christmas cactus.
