Cultivation techniques:

Water and fertilizer management: During the growing period, apply a compound fertilizer as a top dressing 3-5 times as appropriate, but the amount of nitrogen fertilizer applied should be controlled, so as to avoid excessive vegetative growth that affects reproductive growth and reduces flowering. During maintenance, watering should be appropriately controlled to develop a well-developed root system.

Temperature management: The optimum growing temperature is 20-30°C; at 10°C it enters a semi-dormant state, and below 5°C it will suffer frost damage, so attention should be paid to keeping it warm and sheltered from wind in winter.

Light management: It prefers a warm, humid and sunny environment, and can also be placed in a slightly shaded place, but insufficient light reduces flowering.

Red Mandarin Vine

Red Mandarin Vine has strong stress resistance and is rarely infected by diseases, so during the growing period, spraying a fungicide once a month is enough to play a preventive role against diseases.

Propagation methods edit

Cuttage can be used, with spring to autumn being the suitable period. Cuttings

treated with rooting agent can increase the rooting rate. Fertile humus loam is best for cultivation, with good drainage and sunlight required.
