Growing these vegetables in balcony pots is very easy, and you will have more glossy green organic greens than you can eat

The balcony is the spot at home with the best light, the best ventilation, and the most open view. It is a bit of a shame to leave it idle, and the temperature is just right, so we can grow some vegetables, which are both ornamental and edible, killing two birds with one stone.
Just imagine the scene when the vegetables grow: melons and fruits fragrant, bean pods hanging low, red radishes and green lettuce, all delightfully lined up on the balcony, what an inviting scene!
What is good to grow? Let us take a look together:
1. Easy type
If you are a beginner, you should choose vegetables that are relatively easy to grow, so grow some lettuce, baby bok choy, small rapeseed greens, spinach and the like. These seeds sprout very quickly, and in five or six days small seedlings will appear
Choose a suitable container according to the number of seeds. If they are too crowded, the nutrients will not be enough, and the vegetables that grow will be small and thin, not good-looking and not tasty; if they are too sparse, the plants will grow large, but it wastes space and you harvest less.
When planting, there is no need to bury them too deep; a plant spacing of 5 or 6 cm is fine. They need fertile, well-drained soil, and you must water frequently to keep the soil moist. In about a month, you can eat them.
2. High-yield type
Peppers have a very high yield, and a single plant can bear many fruits. There are also many varieties, such as: facing heaven chili, cherry tomatoes, millet pepper, bell pepper, Hangzhou pepper, five-color pepper and so on, all kinds, and you can choose according to your own preferences.
This type of vegetable has a relatively developed root system and needs a large and deep container to grow in. Two or three plants in one pot is fine. It needs fertile, airy soil, and with proper watering, fertilizing and light, that is enough. The colorful peppers will hang all over the branches.
3. Cute type
You can grow some cherry radishes in the sunlight, with red skin and white flesh, delicate and round, very appealing.
Planting is also quite simple. Choose a suitable container or flower pot, with a plant spacing of 4 to 5 cm and a row spacing of 5 to 10 cm. In not much space, you can grow two rows of small radishes.
Cherry radishes love light very much, and humus soil is best. Drainage must be good, and you need to keep them moist while draining excess water, to avoid the radishes splitting. They do not have high fertilizer requirements, and you can appropriately sprinkle some cake fertilizer water on the surface. In about a month, you can eat crisp radishes.
There are also many varieties of small radishes, such as: April White, Rabbit Tail, Champion Radish and so on, and you can plant according to your own preferences.
4. Climbing vine type
Such as bean pods, cucumber, loofah, bitter melon. These vegetables are all ones we commonly eat. As long as you give them enough space and suitable water, fertilizer and light, the yield is very high, and you cannot finish eating them.
5. Heavy-duty melon vegetables
Such as zucchini, eggplant, pumpkin, watermelon, winter melon and so on. The fruits of this type are relatively heavy, so you need to choose suitable containers to grow them. With sufficient light, proper water and fertilizer, and careful management, you will certainly harvest no small amount.
There are many vegetables suitable for growing on the balcony. As long as you like them, you can try any vegetable. With fertile potting soil, good ventilation and air permeability, and good light, these vegetables can all grow especially vigorously and bear many fruits. Pick them whenever you want to eat them, convenient to hold and reassuring to eat.
Take action! You can eat fresh organic vegetables all summer long, and the balcony will be a beautiful scene of brilliant colors and fragrant melons and fruits.
