Grow potted cactus with the right water and soil, and it will bloom several flowers at once

Cacti are very easy to keep alive. Basically, you put one in a pot at home and water it whenever you remember, and it will survive; they have extremely strong vitality. However, many people's cacti never bloom. Actually, if you want them to bloom, you still need some tips and tricks. So, if you want your cactus to bloom, what should you pay attention to, or what do you need to do? Below I'll share a few of my little methods for growing cacti.
1. About the lighting for cacti
Cacti like plenty of sunlight, but you shouldn't let them be exposed to the sun's scorching rays all the time. Especially now that summer is coming, cacti should be shaded appropriately, or you can move them indoors to care for them and just let them receive indirect light.
2. Use these two methods to mix soil for cacti
Cacti like soil with good water absorption, so when we care for cacti, we should choose loose soil when mixing their potting mix, such as sandy soil, plant ash, and so on. I'll share two methods for mixing cactus soil.
The first is to mix plant ash with sand to grow cacti. Generally, a half-and-half ratio is fine. This helps root growth and makes water accumulation less likely, so root rot is less likely to occur. The other soil-mixing method is to use pine needles that have fallen from pine trees, add a bit of fine sand, and then add potting soil. Using these two soil mixes to grow cacti works super well; they can grow better and are easy to bloom.
3. Water with overnight water
When watering cacti, you can't do it too frequently. Pay attention to the frequency of watering cacti, because cacti are especially drought-tolerant and like a relatively dry environment. If you water too much, it easily causes water to accumulate in the cactus pot's soil. And when watering, you can use overnight water to water them. This kind of water more easily lets cacti grow better, which will make the cacti bloom.
4. Fertilize cacti appropriately
When in a pot, cacti also need a small amount of base fertilizer, which can be placed at the bottom of the pot. This can provide more nutrients for the cactus's growth and let it grow better, such as bean cake, sesame paste residue, and so on.
