Today I'm introducing a particularly beautiful flower, and that is the Eden Rose (Pierre de Ronsard). Just hearing the name sounds so elegant, right? The Eden Rose is a very classic climbing rose, with a huge amount of blooms and gorgeous flowers, a perfect match for balconies, terraces and gardens.

The name Eden Rose comes from Pierre de Ronsard, the sixteenth-century man known as the "poet of roses," and it is a flower especially loved by many gardeners around the world.

The Eden Rose comes in a variety of colors, its flowers have a mild fragrance, the flower color is vivid yet not gaudy, the flower form is very proper, the petals are layered over one another and very full, and it can also bloom in multiple seasons; a single flower stays open for 5-7 days, and the flower quantity is very large.

Care tips for everyday growing:

1. No matter which climbing rose it is, they all grow very fast. If the pot is too small it will restrict its growth, but I don't suggest repotting straight into the largest pot right away. If yours is a small seedling, a large pot is actually not good for a small seedling because it makes water control harder. The principle is "big pot for big plant, small pot for small plant."

2. The Eden Rose has a persistent pursuit of light, and it will bloom better in ample sunlight. For potted plants on a balcony, you must give it the spot with the best light. A daily sunshine duration of more than 4 hours is best. If your flowers aren't blooming well, it may be that there isn't enough light.

3. The Eden Rose likes water. Watering should be done so that the potting soil stays moist. In the height of summer you also need to spray the leaves and the ground to raise the air humidity, which is good for growth. During the dormant period, reduce the watering frequency.

4. Flowering plants consume nutrients, so when planting you should apply enough base fertilizer, and during the growing period apply regular topdressing. After winter sets in, bury base fertilizer once, so that this wave of flowers in spring can bloom very well. If the pruning and topdressing after flowering are done well, then the next round of blooming will come very soon.
