Natural trees on New Year's Eve. In particular, the natural scenic areas of modern temples and ancient and famous trees are even more peculiar and different. Stump bonsai are miniature versions of these ancient trees in the square. The application of bonsai art not only means diluting the spirit of the tree in the pot, but also has a beautiful shape and a profound artistic conception. At the same time, the vitality of the tree is also transplanted into the pot, so it is a kind of artistic life. People call it "silent poetry, flat painting, living sculpture." From this, we can draw three basic stump models, which are natural, novel and short.

1. Natural

The appearance of the stump should be natural, not artificial, and you should achieve your own layout and pruning. It is hard not to flatter nature, misread nature, and create a self-defeating appearance. As the Qing dynasty scholar Ye man said, "Fine art is also natural." "Heaven" is natural. Everything is natural. So what should be done to adjust the appearance and shape of the stump to make it natural? The following talks about the opposite end: 1. The trunk from the base upward should suddenly taper; if it is thick and thin, or thin in the middle and at the end, like a gourd, it is not suitable and not natural. 2. The side branches should be thick at the bottom and thin at the top, and the crown (the whole side branch) should be large in the lower year and small at night; the proportions should be appropriate, and the top (top pad) should follow the trend and does not have to form a straight line with the bottom line. 3. Branches, if they need to "bend," should also have large "bends" at the New Year's Eve and small "bends" at the top of the "bend"; the positions of the "bends" should be neat and symmetrical, avoiding rigidity. 4. Pruning cuts should seek complete healing, as if it were supernatural. Although it is artificial, it does not reveal traces of human work, as if it were born that way. The forms observed in school come from nature, but they have their own artistic attributes and cannot be directly moved from a natural tree to a pot. Instead, the natural tree should be refined and generalized according to artistic laws, making it poetic and expressing a certain artistic conception. A beautiful posture reaches a certain artistic conception, reaches a certain artistic conception. The goals of body and spirit often come from the self, but are higher than nature.

In order to achieve the above goals, we should also look for the following points when the stump position appears.

(1) The appearance should focus on the situation. The situation refers to the sense of power contained in the general position of the stump, the sense of momentum, the sense of war, and so on. (2) The foreign style should seek the unfamiliar; the unfamiliar is a new meaning, following natural laws to create a new rather than customary work, but although it is unexpected, in the middle of things, that kind of ignorance of the essence of nature is lacking. (3) The crown layout should be clear and distinct, well ventilated and bright, with rain and dew showing. (4) Eliminate confusion and simplify, cutting off parallel branches, crossing branches, vertical branches, opposite branches and spiral branches. (5) The proportions of roots, stems, branches and leaves should be proportional. This requires the application of special cultivation and production techniques, such as preparing water control and fertilizer control, which makes the leaves shorter.

2. Novelty

Tree stumps and bonsai not only beg for natural beauty, but also beg for children. In this way, the shape is new, and it also becomes one of the rope measures of the stump shape. According to this rope measure, the following measures should be taken to control the appearance: (1) The trunk must have a certain degree of roughness, but avoid being as hard and thin as iron. (2) The trunk should have a certain curvature. (3) The bark should be cracked and scarred, like the scales of an ancient pine. (4) The top of the tree is withered, and the branches and leaves are lush. (5) Split and dry the whole tree from top to root. (6) Thick roots are revealed; if a dragon resembles a snake, it will be very interesting. All of the above formulas can make the stump scenery old; old trees and ancient trees should have this shape, so it is said that these practices do not violate the natural rope measure.

The landscape art of the stump is the addition of natural trees among various potted plants, so all stump shapes are rough. Shrinkage is the measure of the dragon's length. Although it is a small tree, no more than one foot tall, it looks like a thousand-year-old wood in the stump view, which is called "year after year's eve, like a valley," but not as small as possible. The so-called "small" has two meanings: first, it is smaller than a natural tree; second, it means that the two New Year's Eves are inconsistent in size, and when compared by equal degree, it should be small. According to your own way of thinking, a small pile, the key is whether we can see New Year's Eve.
