Reasons and Solutions for Yellowing Leaves on Crabapple Flowers
1. Water appropriately:
Cause: If the amount of watering is usually too large, it will cause root rot due to lack of oxygen, and the leaves will also turn yellow; if there is a long-term lack of water, it will cause the leaves to age and turn yellow.
Solution: Loosen the soil for it regularly, control the amount of watering yourself, and just keep it in a moist state at all times; there is no need to water too much.
2. Increase light exposure:
Cause: If it is placed indoors for a long time and cannot receive enough sunlight, the leaves will turn yellow.
Solution: When there is plenty of sunshine, you can place it outdoors, and appropriately increase the duration of light exposure.
3. Fertilize appropriately:
Cause: Too much fertilizer will cause the leaves to become thick and yellow, while too little fertilizer will cause the leaves to become thin and yellow.
Solution: If too much fertilizer was applied, you can water appropriately more and pause fertilizing; if too little fertilizer was applied, you can increase the amount of fertilizer. Usually, you should master the amount of fertilizer well, and do not water too much or too little.
4. Suitable temperature:
Cause: Crabapple flowers like to grow in a semi-shaded environment. If the temperature is too high or too low, the leaves will turn yellow.
Solution: When the temperature is relatively high in summer, you can place it indoors, or appropriately take some shading measures; when the temperature is relatively low in winter, place it in a position with better light.
