Variety Introduction to the Nine-Round Tower Succulent
Nine-Round Tower is a perennial plant and succulent in the family Asphodelaceae, genus Haworthia. The stem grows upright, the leaves are thick and fleshy, the tips curve inward, and the whole plant is columnar, with rows of raised white markings arranged in rows on the underside of the leaves. The leaves are usually dark green and gradually turn purplish-red in sunlight. It is native to southwestern Africa.

It likes sunlight, is slightly shade-tolerant, does not tolerate high temperature and high humidity, and is not cold-tolerant. It requires well-drained soil, preferably with a certain proportion of granular soil, and is relatively drought-tolerant.
Plant propagation:
Take cuttings from small side shoots growing from the leaf axils or the base of the stem axis. Take cuttings in May, and roots can form in 10 days.

Plant cultivation:
All are planted in small pots, using leaf mold plus river sand as the growing medium. Keep the potting soil moist, and do not water until it is dry. Provide appropriate shading in summer, and apply fertilizer 2 to 3 times a year. The overwintering temperature in winter should not be lower than 5°C. Because it grows slowly, the potting soil does not need to be changed every year.
Main value:
For display indoors in the home, decorating desks and balconies.
