Many flower lovers have different tips for growing flowers. A few days ago, Hua'er came across a flower lover who used onions to care for his plants, and they practically "spicily" burst into bloom. His plants all bloomed into a sea of flowers, and the bugs all steered clear. Today Hua'er will also show you how to grow flowers with onions, so get ready for your eyes to water!

First chop the onion into small pieces, then put it in a filter bag and tie the opening tightly. Then place it in a clean 1L cola bottle, pour in water until it is eight-tenths full, screw the lid on tightly and shake it gently a few times. Leave it overnight, and it will be ready to use the next day.

The onion water does not need to be diluted; it can be poured directly onto the rose plants. Water about twice a week, and it will make the roses bloom even more vividly.

Besides being used to water flowers and provide them with some nutrients, onion water can also be used to prevent pests and diseases. First dilute the onion water 10 times, then pour it into a spray bottle and spray it directly onto the rose leaves. Be sure to spray both the front and back evenly, and it will provide good prevention, "spicily" killing aphids, scale insects and the like.

Besides onions, orange peel and pomelo peel can also do these things. First chop the orange peel and pomelo peel into small pieces, then put them into a clean plastic bottle (it must be transparent and have a lid; a mineral water bottle works fine). Pour in clean water, or rice-washing water if you prefer. If you have distillers' grains at home, you can add a few to help fermentation. Then screw the lid on tightly and leave it in the sun to bake. Every three or four days, open the lid to let it breathe.

After about half a month, when the water turns yellow and gives off a fresh fragrance, the fermentation is complete. Use a filter to strain out the fermented liquid. Dilute it with water at 1:200 and pour it into the flower pot once every ten days, and it will make the flowers bloom even more vividly. Dilute it with water at 1:500 and spray it onto the leaves to help prevent pests and diseases.

The fermented liquid is acidic, so be careful not to pour it on plants that prefer alkaline conditions, otherwise it will rot them to death.

That is all from Hua'er. If you have other additions, feel free to share them with everyone in the comments section below. If you want to learn more about growing flowers, you can follow Huajianke!
