Seed propagation: Before sowing. The seeds need to be soaked in warm water at 20 to 30 degrees for about 12 hours, then removed, rinsed clean with fresh water, and placed in a bag to germinate. The germination temperature should be around 25 degrees. Once the seeds have sprouted, they can be sown, preferably between April and May, and when autumn and winter arrive, those who need to can also transplant them. Note that root rot may appear during propagation

Division propagation: This method requires digging a trench around the canopy, cutting off roots about 1 cm in diameter to stimulate the growth of root buds. When cutting the roots, be careful never to damage the larger root system. After cutting the roots, the soil can be covered back over them, and a certain amount of decomposed organic fertilizer also needs to be added to help the root buds and the plant grow and develop. This method can produce roughly 2 to 3 shoots per year.

Root cutting propagation: Take roots with a diameter of 0.5 to 1 cm, then cut them into cuttings 10 to 15 cm long. Cut the relatively thicker end flat and face it upward, while the thinner end needs to be cut at a slant and face downward. Before inserting the cuttings, they need to be soaked for half an hour in a 0.4% butyric acid solution diluted 1000 times. After soaking, the cuttings should be inserted deep into a sand bed. At this time, the temperature should preferably be 25 to 30 degrees, and the humidity is best kept at 75% to 80%.

Cutting propagation: This propagation method is best carried out between April and June. Prune semi-lignified branches grown in the current year to about 15 cm, and insert the branches into a sand bed. The cuttings also need to be soaked in a 0.4% butyric acid solution diluted 1000 times for one hour or half an hour before inserting them.
