Don't Throw Away a Dying Pothos - One Trick Brings It Back to Life in 7 Days and a Full Pot in 40 Days

A flower friend left a message saying their pothos was dying and it was heartbreaking to watch. It turned out the friend had been away on a business trip for 15 days and came home to find their beloved pothos looking like this (see the picture below). Don't worry, Xiaohua has the most detailed and complete rescue tutorial for you, so you can bring it back from the brink with one trick!
At a glance, this flower friend's pothos was clearly watered far too little. Here is what we can do
Cut off all the leaves on top, then after soaking the pot, place it in a cool, ventilated spot
Also, spray a little water on the surface of the potting soil every day to keep it humid. If you have cling film at home, you can also cover the surface of the potting soil with a layer of cling film - don't cover it too tightly, and poke a ring of small holes around the edge for airflow.
After 20 days it will send out lots of flower buds, whoosh whoosh, and the little pothos grows fast, looking different every day. After about 40 months, a pot of lush green pothos is born!
Pothos care is as follows:
1. For the potting soil for growing pothos, it is best to use a growing medium mixed evenly from 3 parts leaf mold, 3 parts garden soil, 3 parts river sand and 1 part barnyard manure. When the roots of the underground part of a pothos seedling propagated by cuttings have grown to about 5 cm and the young shoots of the above-ground part have grown to 5-7 cm, it can be planted directly into a pot
2. Water more. Pothos likes moisture, so water it more to keep the potting soil moist. In summer, not only should you water more, but you should also frequently spray water on the leaves
3. Pothos dislikes direct sunlight and should be cared for under semi-shade or diffused light conditions. It is suitable for growing indoors
