A few little tips you must know for growing flowers, do you know them all?

Many flower lovers have no real tricks when it comes to growing flowers. So all kinds of problems inevitably come up, but if you learn a few little tips, you won't have to worry.
Watering flowers with tap water
We all know that the tap water we drink nowadays contains chlorine, and this chlorine affects the growth of flowers.
So when using tap water to water flowers, remember to let it sit for a while first, and water the flowers once the chlorine in it has evaporated.
Rooting cuttings in water
Most of the propagation we usually see is done by cuttings, but actually you can also make branches grow roots by rooting them in water.
Fill a bottle with some clean water, then select a sturdy branch from the plant, cut a piece about 10 cm long, and keep two or three leaves on it.
Insert the branch into the water in the bottle, then seal the mouth of the bottle, and after about a month, roots will grow from the branch.
Dry or wet potting soil
If you don't know whether the potting soil at home is dry or wet, you can find out by tapping the edge of the flower pot. Before you water the flowers, tap the edge of the pot with your finger; if the sound you hear is crisp, that means the potting soil has dried out completely and needs watering right away.
If the sound you hear is dull, that means the potting soil is still wet and doesn't need watering right away, so you can water it after some time.
Suitable soil
Growing flowers indoors is not like growing flowers in a yard, where the soil is rich in nutrients; the size of a flower pot is limited, so the nutrients in the soil are limited too.
Generally speaking, the soils suitable for growing flowers indoors include garden soil, peat soil and humus soil, all of which are fairly suitable for growing flowers.
Moving them outdoors to bask in the sun
When it comes to moving flowers outdoors to bask in the sun, you can't do it blindly. Because each flower has different habits, some flowers are more light-loving, so you can choose to let them bask in the sun at noon.
While some flowers don't need much light, so you can move them out in the morning or evening to let them bask in the sun for a while.
In short, growing flowers should still be done according to the habits of the flowers; you can't grow flowers blindly. Once you have a grasp of the various habits of flowers, growing flowers is naturally a simple matter.
