Pothos stripped bare with only stems left? Learn this 1 trick, bring it back from the dead and watch it grow 3 meters

Last winter was very cold, and pothos, pennywort, and many other plants got frostbitten. As a result, they still haven't recovered, with only stems left and no leaves able to grow out. In fact, these pothos already have internal damage, and their root systems are frostbitten too, so recovery is very slow. If this is the situation, how should you handle it? Let's take a look together!

Repair and renewal
-Pothos-
When pothos is in such poor growing condition that only the stems remain, bare and with leaves growing extremely slowly, in fact, if you look at the roots, there must be problems there too.
Before frostbite
After frostbite and cutting off some damaged leaves

Cut healthy pothos branches into 10cm segments, each with a growth node. It's best if they have leaves - one leaf with a growth node grows faster. Lay them flat in nutrient soil mixed with coconut coir. Water thoroughly, keep the potting soil moist, and place in a cool, ventilated spot. They will root quickly.
You can also insert them vertically, and they'll grow faster

Once the pothos has grown new leaves, it can be transplanted into a new pot, with some well-rotted organic fertilizer placed at the bottom. Some flower enthusiasts made fish intestine fertilizer in soil during winter, which works very well for pothos too - it grows especially fast.
For regular watering, water when dry and let it dry out between waterings. When you see the potting soil is dry, water again, watering thoroughly. If you have aquarium water at home, just use that directly. If not, add some general-purpose fertilizer to the water, and the pothos will quickly cover the wall.
For those without general-purpose fertilizer, you can also add a few grains of urea - absolutely not too much, as excess urea will burn the seedlings. You can also water pothos with diluted beer, and the leaves will grow green and fast!
-Pennywort-
Some people's pennywort has yellowed, withered leaves, sparse and straggly, getting worse the more it's grown. In fact, if it's always yellow and thin, it's better to give it a buzz cut and start over as "pennywort" - it'll fill the pot faster.
You can directly give the pennywort a buzz cut! After the buzz cut, because the new leaves can receive light and ventilation is better, in about a month it'll be a big pot again!

Of course, you can also just change the pot, or change the pot after the buzz cut. Because it might be that growth is too dense with too many roots, causing poor growth. After changing the pot, add some soil and still maintain it half-soil half-water, adding a very diluted general-purpose fertilizer once a week, and it'll quickly fill the pot.

Here's a little trick for everyone: if you have urea, add a few grains to water, then pour it into the pennywort pot, and the leaves will grow so big it'll scare you! Again, just a few grains mixed into a large cup of water (about 2L). Diluted concentration is a great tonic, but high concentration is poison.
-Christmas Cactus-
Some people's Christmas cactus has very thin leaves, looking listless, and they don't know what the problem is. In fact, if watering doesn't help it recover, you need to check whether the roots have rotted. After roots rot, they can't absorb water and nutrients, so the leaves are in a wilted state.
When this happens, there's no other way - you can only re-propagate from cuttings. Cut off healthy leaves at the node of slightly older leaves, let the wounds dry, then plant as cuttings. After planting, water lightly and place in a cool, ventilated spot for care. After about 1 month, they will root.
(Flower Forum, Chunqu Wufang)
After root rot, cutting and re-propagating, the Christmas cactus grew into a big pot in half a year - brought back to life.
Does your pothos or pennywort have this situation too?
