A flower as famous as cherry blossoms, and it seems even more precious than them

Everyone knows that cherry blossoms are Japan's national flower, and Japanese people deeply love the noble and pure cherry blossom, but many people probably still do not know that Japan has another plant as famous as cherry blossoms - Hepatica. It also has other names: butterfly grass, triangle grass, sandbar grass, wild water caltrop greens, Hepatica nobilis, young lung sanqi, and so on.

However, in Japan, this flower, Hepatica, is highly valued by them and is not allowed to be exported, so apart from being seen in Japan (mainly produced in Hokkaido), it is relatively very rare in other European countries. There is also a pure instrumental piece titled "Hepatica," which is quite pleasant to listen to; those interested can give it a listen.

Hepatica can be compared with plum blossoms; both bloom in winter, each with its own beauty, and both are awe-inspiring. This is the life of nature. "Yukiwari," in Japanese, means breaking through the snow. In the boundless snowfield, it grows tenaciously, cluster by cluster, every branch fighting against the severe cold. But when the winter snow melts in spring, that is the day it withers.

Hepatica is a cold-resistant plant, and at the same time it possesses considerable patience, just as Hepatica does not fear severe cold, and when facing difficult challenges, it patiently overcomes them one by one. Therefore its flower language is patience. Although Hepatica is generally planted as ground cover or in pots for ornamental viewing, it can also be used medicinally, made into medicines for invigorating blood and dispelling wind, and medicines for killing insects and stopping itching.
