If you are new to growing flowers and do not know much about all kinds of plants, you are probably at a loss, not knowing what plants there are or which one to choose. For gardeners in this situation, just pick this one, you cannot go wrong. Put one in your home and the whole family will be "happy"

The happiness tree (Radermachera sinica) has become a very popular potted plant in recent years. It stays green all year round, has upright stems and branches, and emerald green leaves, making it very suitable for decorating the home. What is more, its name has a good meaning: on the surface alone, it implies that it can bring happiness and peace. In fact, whatever else you have, it is not as good as having happiness!

The happiness tree has a strong ability to adapt to its environment and is full of vitality. Even if you do not have much time to care for it, it can still grow well, making it very suitable for beginners who have never grown flowers before.

The happiness tree likes loose, fertile, well-drained sandy soil rich in organic matter. The soil can be mixed like this: garden soil plus leaf mold plus river sand plus a small amount of organic base fertilizer. For the base fertilizer, you can use the droppings of livestock and poultry, such as decomposed chicken manure, sheep manure, pigeon manure and so on, or some rapeseed cake fertilizer and bone meal.

It is a full-sun plant and needs plenty of light so that its leaves can carry out photosynthesis fully and the chance of yellow leaves is reduced. It can be placed by a window or on a balcony. There is no need to move it around repeatedly, which saves time and effort!

When caring for the happiness tree in summer, you can water it in the morning or evening, and mist the leaves at the hottest time around noon, because it likes a humid environment. This can reduce water loss from the leaves and keep them crystal clear and emerald green.

During the growing season of the happiness tree, you can apply a dilute liquid fertilizer once every 15 days, such as various vegetable leaves and fruit peels that have been decomposed, or fermented rice water. These are all very good for caring for a rubber plant

When caring for the happiness tree, you also need to pay attention to pruning. It is a medium-sized deciduous tree, and when grown indoors it should not be allowed to grow too tall. With an ornamental green plant like this, you need to pay attention to the beauty of its shape to enhance its ornamental effect!
