Can morning glory be kept indoors?
1. Toxic
It is toxic. Its entire body is toxic, including the stems, leaves, and seeds, among which the seeds are the most toxic. If we accidentally eat its seeds, we will experience symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea, as well as abdominal pain and even blood in the urine and stool.
But in fact, if we do not eat it casually, we will not be poisoned, because it itself does not release any toxic substances. This also means that we can keep it indoors without any threat to life.
2. Environment
The environment it needs also affects where it grows. By nature it loves light very much. If you want to grow it, you need to find a place with good light, otherwise it cannot bloom. So if you want to keep it indoors, you still need to place it on a balcony or in a place with good light. If there is no such place, then it is not recommended, because its flowers will not grow out, and its growth will also have problems.
When keeping it indoors, you need to fertilize and prune it. Some unnecessary stems and withered flowers need to be cut off, so that it will not become leggy and can also grow more branches. Usually you also need to pay attention to fertilizing, and the fertilizer must not be too much. Watering is also essential, but the water must not be too much either, otherwise it will cause waterlogging.
