Peace lily wilted: how to save it? Find the cause and remedy it in time
1. Provide suitable light
(1) Specific cause: If an indoor peace lily is suddenly taken outdoors and exposed to very strong light for a relatively long time, its leaves may wilt.
(2) Solution: Immediately move it to a shaded place, and it may recover quickly. In subsequent care, provide suitable light in spring, autumn and winter. In summer, shade it appropriately.
2. Increase humidity
(1) Specific cause: The growth of a peace lily requires relatively high humidity. If the humidity is too low and the air is too dry, the leaves may also wilt.
(2) Solution: Take measures to raise the humidity in the air, such as spraying water and sprinkling water. In addition, you can also cover the plant with a plastic bag to maintain humidity. However, with this method, you need to let it breathe often.
3. Adjust the type or concentration of fertilizer
(1) Specific cause: If the fertilizer is too strong, or raw fertilizer is used, fertilizer burn is likely to occur, causing the leaves of the peace lily to wilt.
(2) Solution: Be sure to use decomposed fertilizer. Do not make the concentration too high; apply dilute fertilizer. In addition, after fertilizing, it is best to water once with clear water.
4. Adjust the temperature
(1) Specific cause: Neither too high nor too low a temperature will do. Specifically, when it is above 35°C or below 5°C, the leaves of the peace lily may wilt.
Solution: Adjust the temperature so that it is within a suitable range, with 15 to 25°C being appropriate.
