There are four situations when the leaves of a peace lily all go limp. First, lack of water, so water cannot be supplied to the leaves, and it needs to be replenished in time. Second, the light is too strong, so it needs to be moved immediately to a cool and well-ventilated place, and afterwards given indirect light. Third, if it is during the seedling-acclimation period, then it is normal, and it will recover with good care. Fourth, the air is too dry, so you can mist it with some water as appropriate.

1. Replenish water in time

(1) Specific cause: if you forget to water the peace lily for a long time, then water cannot be supplied to the leaves in sufficient amounts. In extreme cases of water shortage, the leaves will go limp.

(2) Solution: when this happens, replenish some water for it in time. If the symptoms are not especially severe, it can return to normal within a few hours.

2. Place it in a shaded spot

(1) Specific cause: if strong light shines on the leaves, or the light duration is too long, the leaves are very likely to be scorched and go limp.

(2) Solution: first put the peace lily in a cool, well-ventilated place. After it recovers, take care during routine care that the light is not too strong; give it indirect light and keep it appropriately in the shade.

3. Acclimate the seedling in a cool place

(1) Specific situation: if this phenomenon occurs during the seedling-acclimation period, then it is normal. At this time there is no need to worry; normal care is enough.

(2) Care measures: for a peace lily that is being acclimated, first water it well, then place it in a cool place to acclimate. After this period passes, this phenomenon will naturally disappear.

4. Mist with water to increase air humidity

(1) Specific cause: this mainly happens in winter, that is, when the air is very dry, especially in the north. Indoor humidity is too low, and combined with poor ventilation, limp leaves easily appear.

(2) Solution: mist with some water in time to raise the air humidity. Also, ventilate regularly.
