You say life is like a dream, but I say life is like a succulent.

By a careless accident, I quite by chance fell in love with succulents, and as a result I fell into the huge pit of succulents and still cannot climb out to this day.

Every day I read the articles pushed by the official account, with all kinds of beautiful photos, and the succulents can all look stunningly gorgeous, so without a second thought I jumped

right in. Only then did I realize that the ideal is very plump, but reality is very bony.

At this point I finally understood what true succulents really are: a succulent is half divine, half floating cloud. It can be stunningly beautiful, and it can also be so ugly you want to cover your face.

Let this Echeveria 'Shuxian' be the summary explanation!

The counterattack journey of one Echeveria 'Shuxian'...

(It went green, and it sprawled open)

How it looked when bought!

I worked hard to control the watering, and it wrapped up a bit again...

A gorgeous transformation...

A successful counterattack! (Time can prove everything; as long as you do not abandon it, it will not leave you)

They are all Echeveria 'Shuxian', but how can the difference be so huge!

I want to turn red for you too! (More than a year's time)

The sky in Kunming is truly so blue, but under the same blue sky, succulents are truly not the same.

I have really seen too many good-looking succulents. It is time to reveal a little truth: not all succulents are beautiful, and the succulents many people grow look like this...

Echeveria 'Nüzhi' (Echeveria 'Lola' seedling form)

Unknown name

Leggy Sedum adolphi (Golden Sedum)

Echeveria derenbergii (Maternity Plant)

Where the night light fades,

Beyond the thicket of material desire,

One can hold heart to heart,

And convey feeling without words,

- Only succulents can

There were many plain green ones, but after entering the second year from being a succulent beginner, the succulents look like this...

Echeveria 'Strawberry Ice'

White Bear (Cotyledon tomentosa subsp. ladismithiensis)

Echeveria 'Carola'

Cream Peach (Graptoveria 'Cream Peach')

Echeveria laui (Snow Lotus)

Echeveria 'White Moon Shadow'

Echeveria 'Ebony'

Echeveria 'Ruby'

Echeveria 'Guanghan Gong' (Echeveria 'Cante')

Echeveria 'Ice Jade'

Lime Chili (Sedum 'Lime Chili')

I forgot the name, does anyone know it?

Echeveria 'Moon Shadow' hybrid

Pachyphytum 'Peach Beauty' (Pachyphytum 'Amythystinum')

Sedum adolphi (Golden Sedum)

Crassula perforata (String of Buttons)

Cotyledon papillary 'Damofuniang'

For a period of time, I became obsessed with Haworthia cooperi. H.aworthia 'Ice Lantern', H.aworthia 'Palace Lantern', Haworthia cooperi var. pilifera, Haworthia cooperi 'Purple Pilifera'... I got many of them.

Like a spring breeze coming overnight, a ten-li peach grove is every succulent grower's dream. Unable to control my hands, I got some more Pachyphytum 'Peach Egg'.

Even somewhat similar ones like Sedum 'Baby Finger', Pachyphytum 'Peach Beauty', Echeveria 'Allen'...

For some unknown reason, Pachyphytum 'Peach Egg' is very hard to make red and to make plump!

Now they are so cheap; I just bought ten for 19.9! I guess next year a peach grove really will not be a dream, but will there still be next year?

Sedum, Haworthia cooperi, Lithops,

Buy pots, buy soil, buy succulents,

As long as life goes on, buying succulents never stops.

For some reasons, I have really been very free lately. Fortunately I have you, leaning on each other and admiring each other. When I am alone, we often look at each other and never tire of it.

Flowers are not red for a hundred days, and no person is good in every way. How can there be so much perfect beauty? In fact, being ordinary is also a kind of beauty. Growing flowers is like this, growing succulents is like this, and probably life is the same!

A dormant rose

Good-looking succulents are all alike, but the one you like yourself is one in ten thousand! You say life is like a dream, I say life is like a succulent! It has been ugly, it has been beautiful, it has been brilliant, it has lived, it has been sick, it has had black rot. If the heart is there, the dream is there! If the leaves are there, life is there!

Good or bad, as long as it is alive, that is enough!

If there is a remaining life...

I have been so long-winded and said too much, but people always need some hobbies, otherwise what is the difference between them and a salted fish... (It is too late at night, 01:01 a.m.)
