For drooping leaves on a Radermachera sinica, you can try the following methods: First, appropriately increase the light exposure time; second, reduce watering, do not let the potting soil be too wet or allow waterlogging. At this point you can only stop watering, and resume watering when the top 1 cm of the potting soil surface is on the dry side. However, if the leaves droop after repotting, or droop due to natural leaf fall, then no special treatment is needed.

1. Increase light

The Radermachera sinica prefers sunlight. If it is kept in a place without sunlight for a long time, its leaves will droop even when water and nutrients are sufficient, so light should be appropriately increased. If conditions allow, it can be kept in sunlight for a long time; if conditions do not allow, then it should be placed in sunlight for at least 3 hours or more each day.

2. Reduce watering

Although the Radermachera sinica relatively prefers a humid environment, this does not mean the potting soil can be excessively wet for a long time (except for hydroponic ones), and there should be no waterlogging in the pot either, otherwise its roots will be unable to normally absorb water and nutrients, and the leaves will also be unable to grow normally, gradually drooping and losing vitality. At this point, stop watering, and only resume watering when the top 1 cm of the potting soil is fairly dry.

3. Natural phenomenon

During overwintering, when the difference between high and low temperatures is too great, when the indoor temperature is on the low side, or when indoor ventilation is poor in winter, the Radermachera sinica is prone to drooping leaves. This is a normal natural reaction. Just carry out normal care.

4. Repotting and acclimatization

Repotting and acclimatization can also cause the leaves of the Radermachera sinica to droop, but there is no need to worry. This is because when repotting it, the roots will inevitably be damaged to some degree, so the leaves droop. At this point, simply place the plant in a spot with plenty of sunlight and let it slowly recover.
