When growing flowers, if the soil is not used properly, it can easily cause your plants to die prematurely. Friends who often grow and care for flowers know that after a long period of cultivation, the potting soil needs to be tended to regularly, and removing the compacted portion of the soil is self-evidently beneficial to the growth of flowers and plants.

Loosening the soil in flower pots requires good technique. First, we can use a bamboo stick along the edge of the pot to pry the soil loose. Do not use too much force, so as not to damage the roots.

At this point, pick up the flower pot with your hands and shake it so that the soil in the pot is loosened on the upper part, then move on to the inner part. Hold the outer wall of the pot with both hands and gently pat the edge of the pot a few times to loosen the soil in the pot.

At this point, the shallow soil and the soil at the surface along the edges have been loosened, but the deepest soil at the bottom may still be relatively hard. Use a wooden stick to reach deeper and loosen the soil.

Once the soil is loosened, we can then water or fertilize, so that the plants grow better.
