One bucket of air conditioner water is collected every day. Pouring it away is too wasteful. Use it to water flowers and the leaves will be green and the flowers lush, and the potting soil will not compact.

Now the weather is gradually getting hotter, and the air conditioner is also kept on every day. At least one bucket of air conditioner water is collected every day. It is a pity to pour this water away. Besides using it to flush the toilet, it actually works quite well for watering flowers, and when used on potted plants it does not easily compact the soil.
This kind of air conditioner water, which we also call air conditioner condensate, is liquid water formed when gaseous water in the air meets the air conditioner's condenser. It was originally water vapor and is itself non-toxic.
Generally speaking, when a 1-horsepower air conditioner is cooling or dehumidifying at room temperature, it can discharge 1 liter of condensate every 2 hours. This water is non-toxic and harmless, a neutral soft water with a pH of neutral, and it can be applied to flowers that prefer acidic conditions as well as those that prefer alkaline conditions.
If convenient, you can place a large plastic bottle under the air conditioner drain pipe, and after it is full, pour it into another container, such as a bucket. Once the condensate accumulates from little by little and reaches a certain amount, it can be used to water flowers.
Air conditioner water can be used to irrigate most plants, such as pothos, spider plant, parlor palm, gardenia, jasmine, and so on. It can be poured at the plant roots, or put into a spray bottle and used by spraying it on the plant leaves, which is very convenient.
However, it is still recommended to let it sit for 2 days before use if possible. With long-term use, the potting soil is not prone to alkalinity or compaction, and potted plants also grow well.
