Flowers can be propagated in many ways, such as sowing, cuttings, division, and so on. Among these, cuttings are divided into leaf cuttings and stem cuttings. These 4 kinds of flowers can be propagated into a whole pot from a single leaf, rooting in just 20 days, so why bother buying them at the flower market!

Jade plant

The leaves of the jade plant are somewhat similar to those of succulents and kalanchoe, thick, plump and juicy. A jade plant leaf that has been accidentally knocked off, laid flat on the soil surface, or inserted into sandy soil, will grow small white roots in about 10 to 20 days. It takes root very easily, so there is simply no need to go to the flower market.

Fiddle-leaf fig

Fiddle-leaf fig can be rooted using water propagation. Cut off a healthy fiddle-leaf fig leaf, soak it in rooting solution for ten minutes, then place it in water to root. Put it in a sunny, well-ventilated place, and roots will grow in about 10 days. Wait until the roots reach 5 to 8 cm before repotting. The survival rate reaches over 90%!

Snake plant

The snake plant is easier to propagate than anything. Cut off one leaf and cut each leaf into 10 cm sections; a single large snake plant leaf can produce five or six small snake plants. You can use either water propagation or soil propagation. Isn't it very simple and convenient?

ZZ plant

Cut off the leaves of the ZZ plant, soak them in rooting solution for ten minutes, insert them into sandy soil, and place them in a cool spot with bright, indirect light. Roots will form in about 15 days. For the rooting medium, you can use peat soil plus perlite plus river sand in a ratio of 3:1:1. This kind of soil allows the ZZ plant leaves to root smoothly.
