Pothos can survive without soil or water, and with just this one thing it will grow like crazy and fill its pot
Pothos can be grown either in water or in soil, but soil culture is still the better choice. If you grow it in soil, mixing nutrient-rich soil for it is of course the most important thing; not only will the leaves not turn yellow, but it will also fill its pot in every season. But today I am telling you about a method that uses neither water culture nor soil culture; with just this one thing you can keep pothos alive
That thing is pine needles. Why pine needles? Because pine needles have good air permeability and fairly strong water permeability, so choose pine needles. Moreover, pine needles contain a large amount of plant organic matter, which is also particularly good. Most, most, most importantly, pine needles are easy to find; wild hillsides and so on are covered with them everywhere, you can see them anywhere, so choose pine needles
Take the pine needles you just picked up and put them under the sun to bake for two days; this can kill some bacteria and small insects, so that pothos does not breed pests. Then add water to the pine needles, in a half-water half-pine-needle state. Not only pine needles work; for example wood shavings and so on can all replace nutrient soil for pothos, because they are all loose and breathable, very beneficial to the growth of pothos, and also very likely to make it fill its pot
