Succulents have become an indispensable part of home gardening, and they can even be used to decorate the garden. There are so many succulent varieties with excellent ornamental value, and succulents can be incorporated into the home in all kinds of creative ways. They are suitable for growing on a balcony or in a yard, and can even be planted in broken pots or old chairs. Among the ideas below, there is sure to be one you like.

1. Tree stump succulents

An abandoned large wooden stump that has already begun to rot a little can have its center hollowed out and drainage arranged, then filled with special succulent soil and planted with a mix of succulents, turning it into a charming rustic succulent display.

2. Chair succulents

Turn an old discarded chair into a succulent display. All you need is enough sphagnum moss, fixed to the chair with wire rings; some succulent soil can be spread over the moss, and finally the various succulents are planted on top. It looks colorful and especially charming.

3. Chinese-style tea set succulent display

These are old, antique-style colored ceramic tea sets. After planting them with various succulents, they become fresh green succulent displays. Besides the good-looking succulents, you also need to add some granular stones or decorative stones on the soil surface, and they look extremely good placed on a table.

4. Pumpkin succulent combination planter

You can use a white pumpkin pot, which looks very cute and is suitable for placing on a table. Spread some sphagnum moss or granular stones on the soil surface to make the whole planter look fresh and natural.

5. Succulent pillow

The idea here is very unique: add some water-absorbing material inside a pillow, then cut holes on the outside to plant various succulents. Choose easy-to-grow Sempervivum succulents and various creeping Sedum varieties.

6. Succulent driftwood display

Take a very plain piece of driftwood, drill holes in it, then add sphagnum moss and succulent soil, and it can be used to pair with cacti and various succulents.

7. Succulent wreath

Use wire mesh to form a ring, then fill it with sphagnum moss, and finally plant various succulents on it. It looks especially exquisite, and you can choose succulents of different shapes and colors.

8. Succulent picture frame

It looks very upscale and full of personality.

9. Broken flower pot

Broken flower pots can be reused as waste material and transformed into natural, fresh combination planters. Once arranged properly, they can be planted with succulents and paired with various cute accessories, becoming an extraordinarily creative succulent display.

10. Miniature shell succulent garden

An old wooden table paired with succulents planted in shells and large snail shells gives a feeling of a beach vacation. You can choose easy-to-grow succulents such as Sedum 'Burrito' and Bryophyllum.

11. Birdcage succulent display

Using a discarded birdcage to grow succulents is a wonderful idea. It can be hung under tree branches or kept on a balcony. Add some succulents inside the birdcage and spread sphagnum moss around the edges, and you can plant various small succulents. Along the sides, you can plant succulents such as string of pearls, string of tears, Sedum makinoi, or Echeveria 'Purple Peony'.

12. Succulent display under a glass table

Place a succulent display under an outdoor pavilion; here the idea is to use a glass table, planting rows of succulents beneath the table. Add sphagnum moss at the base of the plants, and put nutrient soil under the moss, so it does not look bad either. The glass table on top paired with the succulents looks especially charming.
