A flower with a blooming period of up to 300 days, easy to grow and beautiful, no worse than roses or gardenias

You don't have to grow roses and gardenias when you grow flowers. Although both are very beautiful and fragrant, they are not particularly easy to keep alive. If you love seeing flowers, choose this one: beautiful, easy to grow, with a blooming period of up to 300 days, not the least bit inferior to roses or gardenias!
The flower I'm sharing with you today is called begonia (Begonia spp.), also known as Bayuechun. Its blooming period is from April to August, nearly 300 days. Plant one and you'll have flowers to see almost every day. Isn't that a great deal?
Begonia is a perennial herbaceous flowering plant. It originated in our country and is grown in many places across China. Its blooms are bright and beautiful, and it is gradually gaining recognition among the public.
Begonia is fairly tolerant of poor soil and has no strict requirements for potting soil. You can use leaf mold mixed with river sand. In addition, the soil needs to be sterilized, as its roots are very susceptible to bacterial infection.
For routine care of begonia, place it at home in a spot with bright, indirect light and good ventilation. It doesn't particularly like strong light, and it can also grow well in a semi-shaded environment. Unlike other flowers, too much light is actually not conducive to blooming, so it is also suitable for spots at home with poor light.
When watering begonia in summer, choose early morning or evening; do not water at noon. With the soil, follow the principle of keeping it dry rather than wet.
If you want your begonia's flowers to be more vivid and attractive, be sure to fertilize regularly. A common option like monopotassium phosphate can be sprayed once every 10 days to extend the blooming period and make it even more appealing.
In addition, if you want your begonia to bloom more, pinch out the growing tips once or twice during the growing season. The purpose of pinching is to make it grow more side branches; with more side branches, it can produce more flowers at one time.
Begonia is also very easy to propagate. Both seed sowing and cuttings work, and both are very simple and convenient.
Aren't begonia's flowers also very beautiful?
They're no worse than roses and gardenias, right!
