China rose looks like a rose and is easy to care for; it can even be grown in a pot on a balcony, so it is well worth getting

Today's featured plant
Pothos and succulents are probably the most common potted plants in homes and offices. Pothos is easy to grow but a bit lacking in ornamental appeal, while succulents are adorable but hard to care for. The flower introduced today is called Creme Lonsdale; its leaves stay evergreen all year round, its blooms are as beautiful as roses, and it is easy to care for, making it even more worth having.
Creme Lonsdale
Creme Lonsdale, or Nailong for short, is a garden variety of China rose (Rosa chinensis) in the Rosaceae family. In the world of China roses, anything called "Lonsdale" is no ordinary plant. Lonsdale Gem, for example, holds a status comparable to Apple in the phone world, with stunning looks that make everyone proud to own one. Unlike Lonsdale Gem, Creme Lonsdale is a small shrub that can be grown in pots, making it a godsend for balcony gardeners.
Beauty no less than that of roses
The Nailong flower is cup-shaped with tightly packed petals, a classic rose bloom form. Its creamy white petals tinged with yellow-green look very much like cream, utterly charming and impossible to put down. It blooms all year round, flowering in spring, summer, autumn and winter, almost once a month, one wave after another, opening in multi-headed clusters that fill the branches with blooms, beautiful and spectacular.
Opening in multi-headed clusters
Nailong is also very easy to grow. As a woody plant, it reaches only about 1 m at most, with many branches and strong adaptability. It is cold-resistant and heat-tolerant, growing well even in hot Guangdong, and in northern regions it overwinters fine outdoors. It likes light, fertilizer and water; during the growing season just give it what it needs, and it can be managed as casually as pothos or spider plant. Very easy to grow.
Can also be grown on a balcony
The Nailong plant is not large and takes up little space, so it can be grown in a courtyard or on a balcony, and a pot of normal size is enough. It is hailed as a must-have China rose variety; if you have a balcony at home, it would be a pity not to grow one. If you have good skills, you can even train and prune it into a bonsai tree to place indoors, with flowers blooming in all four seasons and a faint floral fragrance, pleasing to the eye and refreshing to the heart.
