If your home has a terrace or balcony with plenty of sunlight, consider growing some sun-loving, heat-tolerant flowers. The stronger the sunlight, the more lushly they bloom. Common heat-tolerant flowers include Chinese hibiscus, moss rose, morning glory, sunflower, and Madagascar periwinkle. These flowers basically bloom every year. But you must keep the environment warm and humid; under strong light, they can bloom abundantly and fragrantly.

1. Chinese hibiscus

Chinese hibiscus is a tropical flower that can be grown as a potted plant. It likes loose, fertile soil with good drainage. When caring for it, you need to keep it in full sun, with about 8 hours of light per day, keep the potting soil slightly moist, and maintain good ventilation. Chinese hibiscus can bloom all year round.

2. Moss rose

It loves plenty of light. With about 6 hours of light per day, moss rose can grow very well. Keep the environment ventilated and the potting soil loose, and regularly pinch off the tips and prune; moss rose will then grow more branches and bloom more easily, with flowers that never stop all year round.

3. Morning glory

Morning glory usually climbs on iron window grilles, and many flower lovers don't know how to deal with it when moving house. Morning glory can be cut off at the stem and then moved together with the potting soil. Once in the new environment, morning glory can grow new side vines. Morning glory doesn't need too much sunlight; after two weeks of care in indirect light, it can be grown in full sunlight.

Summer is here. Are flower lovers still worried about what flowers to grow? For summer flower growing, you should still choose some light-tolerant, heat-tolerant flowers, and these flowers are relatively easy to keep alive. Common heat-tolerant flowers such as Chinese hibiscus, moss rose, and morning glory can all be grown by flower lovers. Just keep plenty of light and water for these flowers in daily care, and pay attention to fertilising; the flowers will then bloom fragrantly and beautifully, and you no longer need to worry about them dying.
