Grow these 2 flowering potted plants, each blooming for over 300 days a year, worthy of being called balcony flowering machines

Want to grow flowering potted plants? You can grow these 2, each blooming for over 300 days, the flowering machines on the balcony
A flower friend left a message wanting to grow potted plants with a long flowering period that can bloom, so Xiaoma recommends growing these 2, which bloom constantly for 4 years and easily fill the pot, the flowering machines on the balcony, with both beautiful flowers and leaves, more worth having than pothos and spider plant.
I. Dolphin flower (Streptocarpus saxorum)
If the dolphin flower is well cared for, it blooms all year round, and can even decorate our windowsills and courtyard walls, letting our home burst into a sea of dolphin flowers. Come and plant it with Huahua!
Care instructions are as follows:
1. The dolphin flower likes shade and dislikes sun. Apart from occasionally needing a bit of sunlight in winter, it will not have any problems even without direct sunlight all summer long.
2. The dolphin flower has low requirements for soil. I have tried garden soil, potting soil and that cheap peat soil, and it accepts them all without complaint. However, it does not like heavy clay soil, and its roots do not like an overly damp environment either, so everyone should try to choose potting soil to grow the dolphin flower, loose and breathable.
3. The leaves of the dolphin flower are fleshy and have a fairly high water content themselves, so do not water too frequently, and do not place a tray under the pot, to avoid the roots rotting from lack of oxygen; of course, try not to let it dry out either, because if it lacks water its leaves will curl and the plant shape will be poor.
It can also be grown on a completely enclosed balcony, which most flowering plants cannot do. It has strong vitality; snap off a branch and stick it into slightly moist potting soil and it will survive, and it can bloom the same year. Daily care is not difficult, similar to lazy-person plants like pothos and spider plant, very easy to grow
II. Golden Celebration
Golden Celebration is a variety of rose, a climbing shrub that can be grown as a vine. It was bred in 1992 by David Austin of England, is easy to cultivate and grow, repeats its bloom over multiple seasons, and has a beautiful, full plant shape. It is the preferred decorative flower for holiday celebrations and major occasions. The flowers have a wine-like fragrance, and it is one of the varieties with the largest and most spectacular flowers among English roses, worthy of being called the goddess of the flower world.
Care instructions are as follows:
1. The flower pot used for cultivation should preferably be permeable and breathable, with an ordinary clay pot being best, while an exquisitely looking ceramic pot can be used to increase its beauty. Before using a new clay pot, it is best to soak it thoroughly with water.
2. For potting soil, you can use 5 parts garden soil, 3 parts leaf mold, 2 parts rice husk ash, plus an appropriate amount of rapeseed cake. Or use 4 parts horse manure, 4 parts garden soil, 2 parts river sand, plus a small amount of rapeseed cake and bone meal.
3. The principle for watering is "do not water if not dry, and water thoroughly when you do".
Do not water if not dry. The so-called dry does not mean watering immediately as soon as you see the surface of the potting soil is dry, but rather, after seeing the surface soil is dry, putting your finger 3-4 cm below the surface soil to feel it. If it still feels moist, then wait another day or two before watering; if it feels dry, then you can water.
4. Generally, for newly planted or transplanted potted roses, loose loess rich in humus can be used for cultivation, and it is best to mix in 1/4 rice husk ash or a little broad bean shell, bean cake or chicken and pigeon manure, etc., so that the rose can continuously absorb various nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium from the soil
5. Potted roses should not keep too many buds. At the beginning, keep 2-3 buds on each branch. When the new buds grow to 3-4 cm, generally select and keep one flower bud on ordinary branches, and sturdy branches can also keep 1-2 more buds, so as to concentrate nutrients and promote this round of flowers to bloom large and vivid.
That is all for today's sharing
