A potted fruit tree that roots from just one cutting and bears fruit the same year, even snapping branches with the weight

There aren't that many potted fruits that are both easy to grow and tasty, but passion fruit is definitely one of them. It's very easy to grow and extremely productive. For a home potted plant, apart from needing to put up a trellis for it, there's no reason not to grow it.
Passion fruit is a perennial vine. The fruit tastes sweet and sour, with a fragrant aroma. It enjoys the reputation of "king of fruit juice" and is especially rich in nutrients.
You can grow passion fruit in a pot without needing a particularly large one, and it also tolerates poor soil. Ordinary garden soil will do, but the base fertilizer must be applied well; only with enough fertilizer can you guarantee lots of flowers and fruit. For the base fertilizer, you can bury some chicken feathers, duck feathers, animal bone meal, etc.
Daily care is also very simple. Passion fruit is a full-sun plant, and its growing environment needs plenty of light. We can plant it directly on a sunny balcony, with no need to move it around.
Normally keep the soil slightly moist, water by the "dry-wet" principle: water when dry, and water thoroughly when you do. Water about once every 3-5 days, and be careful not to let water accumulate. During the fruiting period it needs more water, so water generously then.
Plant passion fruit in spring, and it can bloom by July and be harvested in September. From the second year on, it starts blooming every April. From flowering to fruit ripening takes about 2 months, and it blooms in 5 or 6 waves a year. The fruit can be harvested continuously for more than four months, making it very high-yielding.
When we grow it in a pot on the balcony, we can let it climb directly onto the railing to bear fruit, or we can put up a trellis for it to grow on. The fruit will then follow these "routes," and it looks quite nice too.
Some people especially love the fragrant scent of passion fruit, but it's quite expensive to buy. If you can get a few branches from someone else, just stick the cuttings into soil and they'll root. It has extremely strong vitality, is easy to grow and plant, and once planted, it bears fruit year after year.
