How to build a bonsai garden based on the concept of spirit and expression
The ecological leisure bonsai garden is a new concept for bonsai garden planning, yet the planning and design of bonsai gardens lack systematic theory, and research methods are not yet well developed, so they cannot provide a good theoretical reference for the research and planning of existing bonsai gardens. This makes research on the planning and landscape creation of ecological leisure bonsai gardens very meaningful: spreading bonsai culture, ensuring the sustainability of the bonsai industry, embodying the ecological leisure concept of bonsai gardens from multiple aspects, and avoiding deviation from planning priorities.
Innovation points and research value: combining the appreciation of bonsai with ecological leisure increases people's leisure destinations, allowing people to experience bonsai culture through hands-on participation while touring the garden, understand the production techniques and key points of appreciation, cultivate a positive joy in life, spread bonsai culture, and encourage more people to love bonsai. A bonsai garden with a garden-building model that combines bonsai creation, sightseeing tours, research exchange, and popular science education with ecological leisure differs from other traditional bonsai gardens. It breaks the traditional bonsai garden business model centered on sightseeing and production and sales, emphasizes the role of people within it, and has unique features in landscape creativity, forms of expression, and visual appeal.
The ecological leisure bonsai garden is a new type of business form, and bonsai, as a traditional high-end art, gives the bonsai garden advantages that other types of garden green space cannot match. At present, a bonsai garden created under the guidance of the ecological leisure concept has not yet appeared in China. In the planning process, ecological leisure is combined with local culture to enrich the cultural connotation of the bonsai garden.
Expanding the added value of the bonsai garden
In addition to the creation and sale of bonsai, it can also drive the development of related industrial chains, and can also become a teaching and training base for institutions of higher education, regularly hold activities of bonsai associations, increase domestic and international scientific research and academic exchange, maintain the sustainable development of the bonsai garden, and achieve mutual promotion between the development of bonsai and the bonsai garden.
The huge significance for economic development: there are many kinds of bonsai-related industry items, such as the production of bonsai pots, pruning tools, books, indoor bonsai, flowers and seedlings, etc. The construction of a bonsai garden can drive the development of these related industrial chains and bring a good promoting effect on regional economic development. At present, bonsai is used more and more in the landscaping industry, and even many companies have begun to buy bonsai in large quantities in recent years as indoor office decorations and desktop ornaments, bringing huge economic benefits. Therefore, the construction of a bonsai garden is of great significance to economic development.
Compared with traditional bonsai gardens, the ecological leisure bonsai garden pays more attention to nature and ecology, while strengthening leisure, advocating ecological leisure methods, and its leisure activities also pay more attention to ecology and nature. At the same time, it adds activities to reflect participation and interactivity, and displays regional cultural characteristics while people come into contact with human and natural ecology. Therefore, it has more cultural taste than traditional bonsai gardens.
