Grow this all-purpose potted green plant in summer: it purifies the air, repels mosquitoes, and you can even brew tea with it

Mint is a potted plant suited to diligent growers. Its leaves have a natural fragrance and can also be used to brew tea. It is a very good herb plant, and mint has a certain mosquito-repelling effect. The peppermint oil, menthone and menthol contained in mint are easily released and can, to a certain extent, drive mosquitoes away.
Mint seeds are very small, so after dotting the seeds on the relatively moist soil surface, you can leave them uncovered; otherwise the little seedlings will have a very hard time pushing through. Remember to keep the soil moist. At temperatures above 10°C, sprouts will emerge in four or five days.
Mint is also called "yindancao" (silver dan herb). It is a plant of the Lamiaceae family, that is, the dried whole herb of the same genus and other species. It mostly grows by rivers in mountain wilds and wetlands, with rhizomes creeping underground. It is an aromatic crop with special economic value.
Mint can purify the air. Mint gives off peppermint volatile oil with a cool scent, which can purify the stuffy air in a bedroom. Especially after sleeping for a night, the bedroom contains a lot of foul exhaust air produced by breathing, and a fresh, natural scent is urgently needed to purify it.
