Potted succulents have gorgeously matched colors, and their leaves look beautiful even when they are not in bloom

Potted succulent - the ice plant, also called Lampranthus, or rainbow plant. This variety has extremely gorgeous color combinations: white flowers, red pistils, yellow stamens, blue leaves, and red leaf margins. Even when it does not bloom, its leaves are also very beautiful.
Potted ice plants also come in many flower colors, including purplish red, pink, yellow, orange and so on, and the petals have a metallic sheen that is very beautiful. Their blooming is very interesting: they open only during sunny daytime and close in the evening, thus opening by day.
For the ice plant, the habit of blooming is greatly affected by sunlight, and every flower opens facing the sun. If it is cloudy and rainy with no sunlight, the flowers will also droop and not open, as if they have become "lazy" along with the sun.
For potted ice plants, the floral scent is also very peculiar, much like the smell of the bubble gum eaten in childhood, with a very fresh and sweet feeling. With such a sweet fragrance, of course many insects will come to pollinate them.
After pollination, they will set seeds. Because the ice plant belongs to the Aizoaceae family, its seeds are usually relatively small, and some are only as big as grains of sand or specks of dust. Its seeds also differ from ordinary seeds in one way: after the seeds mature, they do not split open naturally.
Ordinary plant seeds generally split open around noon on clear days under very dry and sunny conditions, while ice plant seeds open their seed coats only when it rains, using water to wash the seeds away. So gardening friends do not need to worry that the seeds are hard to collect after the flowers set seed; although the seeds are small, they will not split open, so they are very convenient to collect.
