Essential care measures for growing flowers in summer

Summer is here, and many flower lovers have moved their plants outdoors. Although the weather is hot, there are still some things to pay attention to when growing flowers. Don't miss the following points.
Shade
In summer, the weather is very hot, and the sun is also very strong. Some flowers cannot withstand intense sun exposure, so at this time you need to give them appropriate shade.
You can move them indoors, or simply set up a shade awning and keep them inside it, so that they won't develop problems from intense sun exposure.
Cooling down
In summer, the temperature will always reach 30 degrees Celsius from time to time, and at this time, remember to cool your flowers down. You can spray water around them to lower the temperature, or simply move them back indoors and use an air conditioner or fan to cool them down.
Notes on air conditioning
Because the air from an air conditioner is relatively dry, when flowers are indoors, place a basin of water around them, or spray water to maintain humidity, otherwise the leaves will turn yellow.
Be sure to open windows for ventilation. You cannot stop ventilating just because the air conditioner is on, otherwise the flowers will develop black rot or other symptoms. At night, you can also move them to the balcony.
Watering
In summer, be sure not to water flowers at noon, because summer temperatures are especially high. After watering at noon, direct sunlight will raise the temperature inside the flower pot, directly causing the flowers to rot at the roots.
Do not use tap water directly for watering. Freshly drawn tap water has a relatively low temperature, and if you water flowers with it directly, the flowers cannot tolerate the temperature and will be shocked. Let the tap water sit for a while, and water only after its temperature is similar to the temperature around the flowers.
Because summer temperatures are high, the water inside the flowers also evaporates quickly, so we need to replenish water in time. Just use one third more water than usual.
