How do you grow jasmine so it stays fragrant all year round? Focus on 3 key periods

Jasmine flowers are full of fragrance when they bloom, with a fresh scent. As soon as summer arrives, you can smell wave after wave of delicate fragrance, especially enchanting. However, if you want jasmine to keep blooming, blooming 5-6 times a year, there are 3 periods that flower lovers need to pay close attention to.
1. First-flush flowering period (plum-rain flowers)
The first-flush flowering period, also known as the plum-rain flowering period of jasmine. At this time, with good water and fertilizer management, the jasmine's tree vigor will grow vigorously, laying the foundation for increased flower production. Flower lovers can apply a general-purpose organic nutrient solution for flowers at the beginning, with a water-to-fertilizer ratio of 800:1, watering once every 5-7 days. After watering, you must water again the next morning, because this is when the "yellow plum" season begins, and the return watering helps prevent root rot. When about two-thirds of the flowers have fallen, the concentration of the organic nutrient solution can be appropriately increased, with a water-to-fertilizer ratio of 500:1.
In addition, for jasmine in pots, loosen the potting soil so that water can drain through the bottom of the pot. When the flower buds develop to the size of mung beans, carry out water withholding; the potting soil should be allowed to dry until the flower buds droop downward before watering again. After that, water one plant when one plant is dry, and once all are dry, water all of them once. The amount of water depends on whether the pot surface is dry or wet. After watering, timely apply the organic nutrient solution according to the needs of jasmine flower bud development, to encourage the potting soil to drain through, preventing roots from sitting at the bottom during the rainy season and causing rot. Generally, apply the organic nutrient solution once every 4-5 days, continuing until the flowers fall.
2. Second-flush flowering period (dog-days flowers)
During the second-flush flowering period, you can apply some liquid fertilizer at a concentration of 2:8, applying once every 1-2 days, continuing until new shoots emerge and buds appear. Even if the weather is muggy and hot, water thoroughly so the leaves can fully spread out. When the flower buds develop to the size of mung beans, withhold water completely. When sixty to seventy percent of the flowers have fallen, within one week, apply the 4:6 liquid fertilizer 2-3 times. After applying, the return watering must be sufficient, because this is the height of the dog days; ample fertilizer and water can promote early tender shoot growth and lay the foundation for the third-flush flowers.
3. Third-flush flowering period (autumn flowers)
During this period, to care for jasmine you need to understand the patterns of autumn weather changes. When the air is dry and high temperatures occur, water twice a day, once between 5-7 in the morning and again lightly between 4-6 in the afternoon. For fertilizer concentration, if using organic nutrient solution, follow 500:1 until tender shoots grow out. As with the first and second flushes, wait until most of the flower buds have developed to the size of mung beans, then withhold water, drying until the flower buds droop downward.
In late autumn, after jasmine enters the greenhouse, it blooms relatively little. At this time, observe whether the pot surface is dry or wet, water every other day, or water as appropriate according to the moisture of the pot surface; do not water all of them uniformly. At this time, apply fertilizer water once every 3-5 days, until close to the Autumn Equinox. Finally, before entering the greenhouse, that is, before the Start of Winter, apply fertilizer water one last time to make the pot surface moist.
