Soil: Aloe vera prefers soil with good drainage and high nutrient content. Light: In spring and autumn, give it plenty of sun; in summer, take measures to shade it; in winter, place it indoors in a sunny spot. Water: Normally it does not need too much watering; water more in summer. Temperature: It is best kept within 15-35°C, and must not go below 5°C.

1. Soil

To grow aloe vera, use sandy soil with good drainage and high nutrient content. Specifically, you can mix peat soil, leaf mold, fine sand and perlite evenly in a 4:3:2:1 ratio to grow aloe vera.

2. Light

Aloe vera likes light. In spring and autumn, give it plenty of sun to help it grow more healthily. In summer, take certain shading measures; do not let it be exposed to the scorching sun. In winter, place it indoors in a sunny spot.

3. Watering

Because aloe vera has a very high water content, it normally does not need too much watering. Keep the soil on the dry side normally, and water only after it has dried out completely. In summer, due to strong transpiration, it needs more water to help replenish moisture,

4. Temperature

Aloe vera originates from tropical regions and is afraid of cold but not of heat. Normally it needs a temperature of 15-35°C. When the temperature is lower in winter, make sure the temperature stays above 5°C, otherwise it may struggle to grow.

5. Points to note

1. Prevent black spot disease. Black spot disease is a common disease of aloe vera that causes black spots on the leaves and affects its ornamental value. So we need to spray it with medicine in advance before the rainy season begins to prevent this disease.

2. Fertilizer supply. Aloe vera is not a plant that likes fertilizer. Normally we should not apply too much fertilizer. However, in summer when it grows vigorously, we need to apply extra fertilizer to meet its growth needs.
