Living in a noisy city, having such a terrace full of blooming flowers is something to be truly thankful for. Because of this, we can still dwell poetically in nature.

The garden renovation began. The cleared flower beds were all planted with various herbaceous flowers. All the trees were pruned and tended, and fertilized. The garden gradually came to life, but it was still far from the effect I wanted. I want the garden to be a beautiful picture in every season, and I want the garden to have flowers blooming and giving off fragrance in every season.

The characteristic of marguerite daisies is that they can bloom into large flower balls without pinching, and the more space you give them, the bigger the flower balls they will bloom into. They really have a bit of that "give me a little sunshine and I will shine" flavor.

The best growing temperature for geraniums is 15 to 25 degrees. Upright geraniums bloom all year round, only showing different colors because of temperature and sunlight. Spring is their best season for blooming enthusiastically, and their flowers will grow bigger and bigger, especially the pseudo-bowl,

There are also the rose-red upright geraniums brought back from Lijiang. Large-flowered geraniums are a variety I am quite obsessed with. Large-flowered geraniums must go through vernalization before they bloom.

I propagated nearly 50 pots of large-flowered geraniums myself, completely poisoned by them.

Among trailing geraniums, the easiest to care for and the most effective variety should be Tornado. Just a few plants can create a perfect flower border. It grows quickly and has strong disease resistance.

The flower quantity is huge, and the flowering period is also very long, from spring all the way to late autumn. It is easy to shape into a flower ball, giving people a stunning power. Ever since I accidentally bought seedlings of Wine Red Angel, I fell uncontrollably in love with Angel's Eye.

In addition, there are also maple-leaf geraniums.

In spring, larkspur cannot go unmentioned. This is a variety I have always been obsessed with, but so far I still have not successfully gotten it through the summer, and I have been constantly exploring.

As the temperature rises and the cold gloom of winter is gone, roses begin to sprout, fully preparing for their grand appearance. Originally, the garden mainly grew some domestic roses, including bright red.

I also planted some miniature roses.

In spring, they begin to compete in beauty, blooming in large patches. Seen from afar, clouds of bright red, pink, and light pink cover the flower trellises. The neighbors opposite have feasted their eyes, because climbing roses are most beautiful when viewed from a distance.

In recent years, I have also bought European roses online. They can bloom in the same year, have a long flowering period, and bear huge flowers. They are indispensable treasures for decorating the garden. Climbing roses can better enhance the effect of flower columns, so I bought two more flower archways to create flower columns.

Growing lilies was quite accidental. I bought a few pots of lilies, and after the flowers faded, I buried them in a flower bed. The next spring, small seedlings like lotus emerged from the soil and developed into a clump. Then every year more bulbs would sprout.

Roadside,

The colors are bright and the flowers are full. When in full bloom, it is absolutely a most beautiful scenery. The moment it blooms, it instantly steals the spotlight from the other flowers and becomes the absolute queen.

The flowering period of lilies lasts only one season. If you want lilies to bloom twice, you need to dig out the bulbs after the first flowers fade and freeze them, then bury them in the soil again.

In spring, all things revive and plants grow wildly. Hydrangeas also send out new buds from the withered branches. Hydrangeas are especially fun, and they have many quirks. For example, they sprout new buds from old branches, so if you cut off the old branches in early spring, your hydrangea may not bloom. Therefore, hydrangeas should be pruned in time after flowering in the previous year, and no more pruning after autumn. Hydrangeas are the chameleons of the plant world. If the soil they are planted in is acidic, they will appear pink.

If the soil is alkaline, they will appear blue-purple.

I think I love flowers, so I am willing to spend a great deal of time and energy in the garden. In every season, the flowers also present different beautiful scenes to me, letting me admire, letting me be intoxicated, letting me be enchanted. Time in the garden is my most relaxed, most pleasant, and most beloved time.
