No need to worry about pests on flowers and plants; kitchen seasonings repel pests and even add nutrients

Now as the weather warms up, it is also the high season for pests, and the flowers and plants at home easily attract ants, aphids and other pests. This not only harms the flowers and plants, but the key point is that it is especially annoying and unhygienic. We can use simple items from home to achieve a pest-repelling effect.
1. Sesame oil
Sesame oil has a fairly good pest-repelling effect. We only need to smear some sesame oil on the rim of the flowerpot, and this can drive away small insects. It can prevent ants, spiders and other insects and keep them away from the plants. Here it is worth mentioning that sesame oil is also very suitable for growing orchids. Dilute the sesame oil 10 times and use it to water orchids; it can make orchid leaves greener and the flowers more fragrant.
2. Garlic
Garlic has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects, and eating it regularly is also very beneficial to human health. For flowers and plants, it also has a pest-repelling effect. After peeling the garlic, crush it, and it can be buried directly in the potting soil, or the crushed garlic can be soaked in water, and the infusion can be sprayed on the plants or scattered on the surface of the potting soil.
3. Tobacco shreds soaked in water
With this method, the amount must be controlled well. Once the amount used is relatively large, it is very easy to cause burns to the plants. Soak the tobacco shreds in water for about half a day. After soaking, dilute the tobacco shred water 10 times, and it can be sprayed on the plants. It can control aphids, red spiders and other pests. Do not use tobacco shred water to water flowers.
4. Orange peel
Soaking orange peel in water also works very well. In fact, people can also drink water soaked with orange peel. After drying the orange peel, put it in a container, add clean water and soak for about 1 day. It does not need to be diluted and can be sprayed directly on the surface of the flowerpot. It can prevent aphids and snails.
5. Rice vinegar
Rice vinegar is rich in organic acids and has a fairly good inhibitory effect on germs and pests. Generally, dilute it about 100 times and spray it on the surface of the plants. It can not only repel pests, but also provide certain nutrients for flowers and plants, making the leaves even greener.
