After flowers fade, pay attention to care; gardeners growing these flowers are guaranteed continuous blooms

Summer is the season of brilliant blooms, when flowers all live up to their mission and blossom freely. After many gardeners buy flowers, the plants do bloom. But many gardeners find their flowers fade not long after blooming, and they can only quietly throw them away. This is because they have not mastered the correct flower care methods, which leads to a shorter flowering period.
How to care for flowers after they fade
Lilies
1. After the lily's flowering period has passed, you can cut off the spent flowers, keep the leaves, and place the plant in a spot with plenty of sunlight for care. Increase the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, and the lily can bloom again.
2. If the lily's leaves wither, the lily may have entered dormancy, and you need to stop watering and fertilizing.
3. For lily care, place the whole pot with soil in a corner that gets no sunlight, then cut off the withered lily stems so the lily grows even better!
Rose
1. When caring for roses, be sure to pay attention to pruning. After the flowering period, you can cut off the remaining flowers, then prune poorly developed blind branches, cut off thin and weak branches in positions with insufficient light, and apply an appropriate amount of organic fertilizer or organic nutrient solution to the rose, which is even more beneficial for the growth of new rose branches.
2. Removing spent flowers from roses can involve appropriate thinning of branches, then increase indoor light, and regularly do a good job of pest and disease prevention and control; the rose can bloom for half a year.
3. In summer and autumn, you can apply an acidic flower fertilizer once every half month, applying thin fertilizer frequently. After blooming in early April, around June, you can apply some phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to promote the formation of new flower buds, and the rose can bloom even more beautifully.
Geranium
1. After the geranium's flowering period, clearing away spent flowers is also very important for geranium care. If the weather is highly humid, spent flowers sticking to the leaves can easily cause geranium leaf rot, resulting in the death of the plant.
2. After the geranium blooms, you need to cut off overly long, overly dense, and messy branches, and shorten the long branches. The branches can sprout new shoots and produce new flower buds.
3. In midsummer, the geranium enters a semi-dormant state. You can care for it in a cool environment, control watering, and stop fertilizing. After the geranium grows new buds, you can appropriately pinch the geranium to promote branching.
Lilies, roses, geraniums and other flowers are all common flowers in gardeners' daily lives. After the flowering period, as long as gardeners pay attention to watering and fertilizing the flowers, and appropriately prune the flowers, remove spent flowers and branches, and maintain sufficient light, the flowers can bloom continuously.
