Flower-growing tips: A mom shows you how to grow flowers that are both fragrant and beautiful

Flowers grown the way a mom teaches you - fragrant and beautiful
1. The care environment
Potted Milan (Aglaia odorata) must use fertile, loose sandy soil with good drainage, keeping the environment warm and the potting soil slightly moist. It is a tropical plant, but it can also be cared for in pots in the north. In winter, keep it above 5°C; once it is around 10°C, it should be moved indoors for care, ideally on a windowsill with indirect light.
2. The effect of insufficient light
When light is insufficient, the branches and stems of Milan grow thin and weak, and such branches are very unlikely to bloom.
3. Indoor care
If there is heating indoors, then Milan will continue to grow in winter and still needs normal watering.
In the south, Milan can be planted in the ground, grown in a sunny, well-drained yard, and when it blooms, its fragrance can be smelled from far away.
4. Watering notes
For potted Milan indoors, however, watering frequency should be reduced in winter. At low temperatures growth stops (between 5 and 10°C), water evaporates slowly, so watering frequency naturally should be reduced. Do not water as long as the potting soil is not dry; when the temperature is around 10°C, there is no need to water thoroughly.
5. Air humidity
Stop fertilizing in winter. If the air is dry, you can mist appropriately, 1-2 times a week, and let it get more light through the window.
You can choose to mist on a good-weather morning, not in the evening, to avoid water droplets remaining on the leaf surface at night.
