Echeveria 'Ice Berry' (love you so very much)

To those who love me, I give a sigh,

to those who hate me, I give a smile;

you don't understand me,

I don't blame you;

if you did understand me,

how wonderful that would be!

Flowers fade, flowers fly, flowers fill the sky,

red silk, fragrance gone, who pities them?

March is supposed to be gentle breeze and fine rain, lingering and tender, but who would have thought a sudden hail would come smack in the face, smashing to pieces the beauty of tree after tree. As the saying goes: you make it bloom, and you make it fall!

In this world there are a thousand kinds of charm, and I love only you, love that one kind of yours, ... which kind? Succulents, of course! Every time I post, it's always on succulent-related topics, but this time will be different. Besides sharing beautiful succulent photos, there's also this cherry blossom rain scattering across Kunming;

The sky in Kunming truly has the temper of a young lady - without warning, it can create one unexpected beauty after another for us!

Whenever I go to a place, I always like to compare it with my hometown - whether scenery, food, or climate. Comparing back and forth, in my heart I feel that no other place counts as scenery at all (this remark is rather biased, so please, all the friends visible in my circle, absolutely do not take it personally). They say Yunnan people are hometown treasures, and among them, I am a particularly severe case!

Having seen the vast ocean, no other water seems worthy,

apart from Mount Wu, no other cloud is a cloud!

The world is so big, and I don't want to go see it!

When a person's eyes have already seen the most beautiful scenery, every other place is just light breeze and pale clouds ...

If only the water of Dianchi Lake could be as clear as it was when I was a child!

Loving your own hometown is the kind of love that goes to the bone, because besides being able to grow very beautiful succulents in Kunming, there are also spring, summer, autumn, and winter, always full of brilliant colors;

Kunming in March, with no warning at all, had a hail storm, ruthlessly destroying the flowers, a ground full of fallen red, yet unexpectedly: the planted flower does not bloom, while the careless willow grows into shade! Instead it created such a scene, a desolate, gorgeous beauty!

"The fallen red is not a heartless thing; turned into flower soil, it protects the flowers even more!" Writing here, a certain allusion inexplicably popped into my mind, "When the old man on the frontier lost his horse, how could one know it was not a blessing?" In this life, how many unpredictable situations must a person encounter? This March flower affair is the same - through ice and snow, all the more gorgeous ...

If I'm a bit tired from the road,

please pour me a bowl of water;

if you've already fallen in love with me,

please kiss my lips ...

-- "Fake Monk"

It seems I catch a whiff of "forcing sorrow into words to write a new poem." Luckily there are still succulents - no matter how unhappy I am inside, the moment I see succulents, everything becomes better!
