Ever since I was a beginner 4 years ago, I've always envied other people's marguerite balls, so I finally decided to try growing one myself. Now I'm posting the process photos once. The picture below is what it looked like when the seedlings arrived

At that time I wanted to bang my head against the wall.

Not giving up was the right call, keeping a self-deceiving kind of hope in my heart. Nothing I could do, there was no time to buy more seedlings

Soil mix: peat soil + chicken manure (sheep manure or cow manure is fine too, any organic fertilizer works), plus an appropriate amount of slow-release fertilizer

I didn't take photos before, so it starts from this one

Then move from a small pot to a large pot, and the marguerite grows at flying speed

Pinching: generally leave 4 pairs of leaves on the main stem, pinch off the ones above, and what grows out later will be 4 pairs of branches.

When the branches come out, also leave 4 pairs of leaves on each branch before pinching again, and so on. Of course, if you want it denser, leaving 2 or 3 pairs of leaves before pinching is even better~~

I'm waiting to see the flower ball

Put it outside in the sun, the buds clearly got bigger, and a few small buds also appeared.

One plant per pot

Should I pinch now, or wait until they grow taller before pinching?

I really want to see flowers. If I pinch now, I won't get to see them.

Pots of different sizes, from 15 cm to 45 cm.

Just keep pinching, and in the 2 months from December to February it goes from a small seedling to a ball

This is the photo of the first burst of blooms

A super-large flower ball, finally bursting out, bloom to your heart's content!
