As people's living standards gradually improve, more and more people like to enrich their lives by growing flowers. While enjoying the fruits of modern civilization, they can embrace greenery and get close to nature. And flowers can also beautify the environment for people to admire, and some also have important economic value, so flower lovers must pay attention to flower care.

Foliage plant care tips

1. Control light and water

When flowers sprout new leaves, you need to slow down the growth rate of the new leaves, control light and water, and let the stems sprout more leaves, so the new leaves are arranged tightly; the leaves will then grow with a downward curve, and it is easy to form beautiful mature leaves.

2. Remove old leaves from the plant

When green plants are growing, you can remove the plant's old leaves to let the terminal buds produce new leaves. After the new leaves take shape, pick off the leaves with a poor shape so they do not affect the plant's ornamental value.

Water the flowers appropriately

Watering the flowers with an appropriate amount of water can prevent water from accumulating in the pot, avoid root rot in the plant, and keep the plant's leaves from withering. You can appropriately control the amount of watering; plants with strong drought tolerance can be given a small amount of water, and watering in the morning is enough, which benefits the flowers' growth.

Turn the flower pot regularly

The leaves of flowers are heliotropic and phototropic, and new leaves easily grow toward the sunny side. To make the green plant's leaves grow evenly and avoid uneven sizes, you can often change the direction of the flower pot according to the green plant's growth, so that every leaf gets sufficient light.
