Lucky bamboo care tips: say goodbye to yellow leaves for good

The best and fastest way to make lucky bamboo leaves more glossy is to wipe its leaves clean, because a lot of dust on the leaves makes them look very rough. Alternatively, give it light and fertilizer, but this only works with long-term persistence. In day-to-day care, it needs to be placed in an area with light, and chemical fertilizer must not be used on it.
1. Wipe the leaves
This is the simplest and most effective method: by cleaning the dust off its leaves, you make it look very glossy. Because its leaves absorb a lot of dust, over time they look very rough, and since it can also secrete a substance that traps dust, the grime on the leaves becomes very deep. If you wipe it off directly with a damp towel, it will look very glossy.
2. Light and fertilizer
This is a long-term method that requires prolonged care to take effect, and it is also the best approach. By giving it appropriate fertilizer and letting it get a moderate amount of sun, you can make its leaves more glossy. But note that it needs sufficient light without being exposed to direct sunlight.
3. Daily care methods
1. Place it in a breezy area with very bright light, because its growth requires very sufficient light; it is best placed in an area with enough brightness but not too much intensity. Also, although electrical appliances emit radiation, the effect on it is not great, so there is no need to deliberately avoid this.
2. If it is a bamboo that has just rooted, do not change the water immediately when its roots first grow; if the water evaporates, just top it up. Because if you change the water often, its leaves will actually be more likely to wither. It is also best to use well water rather than tap water; if you must use tap water, you should let it sit out in the sun first.
3. To prevent it from growing out of control, never use chemical fertilizer when feeding it; it is best to give it nutrients once every three weeks, or put some crushed aspirin in, which can make it even greener.
