Growth habits of the golden barrel cactus
Like other cacti, the golden barrel cactus is also very resilient.
The golden barrel cactus likes calcareous soil, growing in lime-containing sandy soil, and grows rapidly in fertile soil. It prefers a dry living environment; it likes warmth, with an optimum growth temperature of 20-25°C. When the temperature is too low, yellow spots appear on the body, and it is afraid of cold; it dislikes moisture. At the same time, the golden barrel cactus likes a sunny environment, and partial shade is suitable in midsummer.
