Want to propagate figs by cuttings but do not know how?

Figs are a fruit that many gardening enthusiasts particularly enjoy eating, but the price is actually a bit expensive. Well, if you learn how to propagate figs by cuttings, you will be able to eat them at home in the future.
When propagating figs by cuttings, it is generally in March or April, and this is the most suitable time for cuttings.
From the fig tree, select one- or two-year-old healthy branches free of pests and diseases, then cut them off, making sure they have two or three plump buds on them.
After that, soak the cut branches in water for about a day. When taking cuttings, note that the surrounding temperature must not be lower than 15 degrees, otherwise it will affect their survival rate and sprouting rate.
Insert the soaked branches into the prepared potting soil and water thoroughly. After that, cover them with some grass to keep them warm.
Once the roots have grown, you can give it normal care. Also, be sure to weed its potting soil so as not to affect its growth.
A warm and humid environment is what figs like best, and their ability to adapt to the environment is also relatively strong; they tolerate poor soil and drought. Ordinarily, let them get plenty of light. Cultivating them in fertile, loose soil with good drainage is most suitable. Keep it moist and avoid waterlogging.
