Alternative Names for Drunk Beauty
Many succulent enthusiasts mistake Peach Ovum/Peach Beauty for Drunk Beauty, but that is actually not the case. Most Chinese names for succulents are transliterated from Japanese, and later, as more succulents were bought from Korea, even more names appeared. Regardless, there can only ever be one Latin scientific name, but no corresponding Latin scientific name has been found for Peach Ovum, so Peach Ovum is not Drunk Beauty.
But like all "Beauties," Drunk Beauty is the one that takes plumpness and adorableness to the extreme.
Drunk Beauty's Requirements for Temperature and Light
Drunk Beauty prefers a growing environment with plenty of sunlight. In spring and autumn, it can receive full sun; during hot summer weather, take care to provide appropriate shade. In cold winter, it should be kept indoors in a warm place, with attention to good ventilation.
Drunk Beauty's Watering Requirements
The watering rule for Drunk Beauty is to water thoroughly when you water, and not to water when the soil is not dry, usually about 2-3 times a month.
In summer, when watering, be very careful about water accumulating in the pot from heavy rain, which can cause the roots to rot.
In winter, when temperatures are low, water less or even not at all, keeping the potting soil slightly dry.
Propagation Methods for Drunk Beauty
Drunk Beauty is mainly propagated by stem cuttings and leaf cuttings.
During the growing season, take a healthy leaf and lay it flat on moist soil, give it a little water after a while, and after some time it will develop roots.
