 Late Autumn OST

It has been three years since I fell down the rabbit hole, growing from the first three or four pots to three or four hundred pots today. Over these one thousand-plus days, the time spent with my succulents has been the most beautiful. When I first became obsessed with succulents, I already followed several subscription accounts, admiring beautiful succulents and learning care experience, and the more I looked, the more fascinated I became.

Succulent Plant Encyclopedia is the only one I have kept following to this day, and I often recommend and share it with friends who have just fallen down the rabbit hole. Here, I see Encyclopedia Jun's persistence and dedication, and there are familiar big names in the succulent world: Su Jun from Qujing, Yunnan, whose little courtyard never fails to amaze me with its large clusters of Aeonium and Echeveria 'Qiluo', making me exclaim This is life; Silky Latte from Taicang, Jiangsu, whose dreamlike lotus flowers and peerlessly elegant Florence make my mouth water; and that piece by the flower-burier in May, whose obsession and reluctance to let go of succulents and helpless choice in the face of reality broke many succulent growers' hearts. What attracts me most about Succulent Plant Encyclopedia is that you can feel its warmth and sentiment.

In short, when it comes to succulents, I have endless things to say. I have long wanted to share my succulents here. But various busyness and trivial matters in life kept putting it off. No matter what, however busy, tired or troubled I am, succulents are a great tool for dispelling worries and boredom. If you love succulents, you must feel the same.

Echeveria 'Onslow', this is the most beautiful version of you I have ever seen, a pink and tender little princess.

This is how you looked when you first arrived, and I was satisfied with your leaf layers and neat symmetry.

A perfectly jelly-like color, with a pale pink edge and a touch of shyness.

In the sun you look like a radiant young girl.

Bun-shaped Cream Berry.

Back when I first fell down the rabbit hole, large old-stem Rosularia in the Taobao community cost two or three thousand at every turn, beyond reach. I finally got you last year, and then I had three pots.

Echeveria 'Happynergy', I cannot tell you apart from Caitlin, never mind, as long as it looks good.

Double Berry, came with Cream Berry, placed together so they are easy to tell apart.

When I bought it at a certain wild gardening shop, it was Purple Velvet, but the more I look at it, the more it seems like Shao Xiu. I have grown it for two years and it is still just a bare stem. I thought about pinching the center to force branching, but I still stayed my knife and pinched the Black Prince that came with you instead.

Echeveria pulvinata 'Frosty', when I traveled to Xiamen in 2015, I brought you home over a thousand miles, and now you stand gracefully.

One of my favorites, grown from a single head, and looking at you now like an oil painting, I feel so fulfilled.

Blue Apple, Blue Elf, and Blue Peacock are all your names.

Although it is one of my favorites, I have still bought six pots one after another. Whenever I see Blue Apple, I want to buy it.

Echeveria 'Violet Queen', when I got you, you were pale green, then orange, and now a dreamy, romantic purple.

Lime Chili, when it first arrived it was all green, and it is also beautiful when it colors up.

Ice Berry, a girl as pure as ice and jade.

Green Time, I was drawn in by your name.

Lawrence, red as a blazing thousand suns.

Xiuyan, just like its name, a noble lady, her vermilion beauty unchanged.

Cream Berry, currently the most expensive group of succulents I have.

Flame Cup, Blue Anna, Autumn Feast, I got you because of your names, and when you first arrived you were very ordinary, but at this stage you amazed me, the pale blue icy texture blending with the red edge like ice and fire in two extremes.

Japanese Ice, red in such a bewitching way.

Fire Sticks, grown from a small single head, one of the first founding members when I fell down the rabbit hole.
